Age

To help protect the younger plays, there real age should be placed on their profile along with their characters age, so that adults do not mistake them for other adults and engage in what would be inappropriate RPG or conversations in general. Another method to protect younger players could be that simply under 18s cannot speak to over 18 yr olds in any form, expect mark homework, unless your involved in the sites running eg teachers

The higher up staff is able to see your real age, and chat and owls are always supposed to be 1x unless you know the age of the other person.

Seperating those two community's is unpractical too as it would seperate a lot of people from staff too.

Quite a few people don't want their ages known. Also its not fair that under 18s can't speak to over 18s. It wouldn't work out.

Seperating different age groups will make the communication on the side much harder and also excludes certain groups, so this is not possible. Everyone should always write in a polite and friendly way, and just as Kumiko said all conversations should have X rating, unless you know that the person you are talking to is an adult and is okay with stronger language.
